Animation for One:
Classical 2D Animation for the Solo Artist

Creating a full-length animated feature is a lengthy and expensive process involving many people. With the arrival of computer animation software, it has become possible to create simple animated short features alone with minimal time and cost with just a bit of careful planning. Here I will share the methods that I use for creating traditional style animation using a reasonably priced software tool called Toon Boom Studio. Keep in mind, this is just one way to approach it; feel free to change things around to make the process more comfortable for you. There is no "one right way".
